"qualify academically"??? U mean along with NC State, Florida State, Clemson, Maryland, ... C'mon, the ACC is hardly the citadel of academics.

Apparently Louisville and WV do not meet the criteria for several ACC schools academically. I have no position with this regards. I would accept both Ville and WV in a heartbeat if I were making the decision. But I'm not. Your issue isn't with me, but some of the presidents of the ACC Universities who are making the decisions. And I'm sure they are not all unanimous.
