Is every one healthy today?

200 milligrams of allipurinol daily has done the trick for me the last 10 years. Gout is an . I drink a lot of beer but I haven’t had a flare up since I started taking it. Also, make sure to drink at least 32 oz daily.
 
At the moment, I have gout. But overall, I'm pretty healthy for an old man.

I'm reminded that when my mother was my current age, first thing she'd read in the paper was the obits.

Had it after a couple holiday parties with shrimp, scallops wrapped in bacon, stuffed Lobster tails and beer last week, foot absolutely sucks. But I should know better.

The first time I had gout my doctor said (jokingly) you're either rich or you drink too much - you don't look rich.
FWIW, I haven't had a flare-up in a decade.
