Iowa is not first in the country in free throw percentage. Not even close.

Well, a difference of opinion requires some stat research. And the findings are :

Congrats to OU (84% FT) over Iowa (80.6)

Well they don’t specify “country” in that part, so they must have been talking Big Ten. Thanks for being so polite about it.

The matchup between Gustafson and Jenna Allen will be really key here.

Does anyone know the status of Shay Colley for this game?

MSU was trying to go one on one too much early but once they started passing the ball, scoring got much easier. It’s 19-14 Iowa after a nice run b6 MSU

MSU doing to Iowa just what they did to Oregon: spot them a significant lead in the first 5 minutes and then rally. After falling behind 15-4, they've tied the game 19-19.

And just as I type that, Gustafson just secured the all-time Iowa scoring record. Her development and improvement while at Iowa has been astounding.

Megan Gustafson has 21 points at the half on 8-of-12 shooting.

Just as a reminder, Gustafson was ranked #80 by HoopGurlz coming out of high school. That's eight-zero. Yikes.

Michigan State has done a great job defending Gustafson in 3Q and, as a result, has taken a 52-48 lead. Gustafson has been held to only one free throw in the first 7+ minutes of the 2nd half.

Just a huge 3Q by Michigan State, outscoring Iowa 23-10. Gustafson was held without a FG.

MSU freshman Nia Clouden is laying claim to Big Ten FOTW, leading her team with 21 points. Jenna Allen also has 18.

Allen is a really good player. She was a difference maker against Oregon and looks like she will do the same against Iowa.

MSU looks very solid. If they don’t have any funky road losses, they could definitely win the big 10.

Gustafson has been so quiet in the second half but still has 28 pts.

With the unbalanced conference schedule, MSU has to play both Iowa and Minnesota twice. I don't see them winning the Big Ten regular season title. The teams that Maryland plays twice are Ohio State, Penn State and Nebraska.

I have only seen them play 2 games, Oregon and Iowa, based on those games they can beat anybody. One loss to NCST, I have not seen NCST but they must have really good team.
