Interesting Connecticut connection on the Lakers...

i know Bynum never matriculated so we don't count him, and they don't either, but Ater Majok is on the roster still. also, their athletic trainer, Gary Vitti, apparently went to SCSU (Southern Connecticut). i did not know that... i hate to think i need to root for LA for any reason. still, wish Ater the best...

Gary Vitti was born and raised in Stamford and attended SCSU where his parents and siblings still live.
He graduated from the U of Portland (OR). He has been the Lakers trainer since (I believe) 1982.
