Boat's X-Rays were negative. All 3 are day to day. Live tweets coming out now from various horde members.

This really is the only time during the year we can rehabilitate injuries without playing too many games. Id rather all 3 sit out the next two weeks if that means not coming back from injury too soon. It's in the players and teams best interest to let the guys heal correctly so problems dont recur or face compensation type injuries.

Wed probably have to go like this the next two games. We're playing Yale and Coppin State so Id expect Brimah Nolan and Facey to add much more offensively with Hamilton the go to scorer. Samuels can kind of go back to what he did last pre season as a pure PG.

Better hope Kia Nurse is ready to go to play PG. Now that would be something.

Totally disagree. If any can play without further injuring themselves, they need to. Especially Calhoun who has no game time under his belt. You need real floor action at full speed to get back into playing frame of mind. Also players need to know how to work together. Having Purvis, Calhoun and Boat sit for 2 games and all come back for the Duke game is a thought that scares the bejesus out of me. Boat would be OK, but the other 2 badly need some floor time and some confidence to get going. I hope they are able to get it, because they aren't going to get it at the Duke game.

Sam Jr. would be the backup PG and he would be fine against that competition.

It's less the ball handling and more the scoring that worries me, at least as far as beating Yale and Coppin State. Hamilton might be putting up a solid 20 something shots. I can almost guarantee it will be painful for us to watch, but the silver lining is that someone - anyone - will have to step up and actually create something offensively, which can only help us down the road. At least, that's what I'll keep telling myself as I watch Brimah back down some 6'6 white kid and put up some entertaining right handed hooks.

TSam was never a pure PG for us. He came in in clean up time and had a few assists but he barely played until the end of the seaon and he wasnt a pure pg then. He was used as defensive stopper and energy/change of pace guy. He went to the basket everytime he got the ball. Yes he scored a bunch on those mainly because teams didnt know he cant shoot.

I think his ability to get to the rim last year was more predicated on the fact that we really could spread the floor and create driving lanes because we would often have 4 guys (and Always at least 3) who could actually drain treys. And yeah some of it was nobody scouted for him then. Everyone and their mother knows hes going to the rack now.

There's one walk on I saw a few times against Texas that looked a lot like Brian Fair
