Injury update on Mullins and Furphy from Borges

Perhaps Furphy will get some minutes in Boston. He is to date one of the two Huskies who has played against Dybantsa (Reibe too).
In one game in an AAU tournament? Can’t imagine that matters at all. Feel like most of these kids see each other on the AAU circuit and not sure I’ve seen a single advantage anyone gained off that

It was the u-19 World Cup, so the competition was good and every team was trying to win. However, I agree that it probably doesn’t make a huge difference.

U19 world cup. A lot better ball than AAU. But that isn't going to impact PT anyways--his practice performance will.

Even if he were healthy tonight don’t think there’s any chance Furphy would play anyways. He hasn’t played a minute of college bball and unlike Braylon his spot in the rotation is a little unclear so doubt we see him for awhile

The Braylon Flagg comparison is a joke, some of you need to pull it together and save that nonsense for the offseason.
The boneyard is 24/7/365.

Furphy matched up against Dybantsa a few times and shut him down pretty well. Furphy has good defensive instincts. He was strong against AJ and forced him into a bad shot.

AJ is a wonderful player. But one player isn’t beating us. Now, AJ and Wrigjt going off that would be a problem. But I believe Silas and Malachi take care of Wright and AJ gets his, and we win by double digits.

Wright vs hobbled Diarra and Maheney was one thing…Demary is another. Plus Wright is a lightweight on D.

I live in Florida. Right know on Fox UCF vs Texas Tech are playing and halftime is not over so the 3Q has not started. It is a blow out in favor of TT but all of these college football games last way longer than they are scheduled.

That is what!

Probably not the right thread to post that message but not sure it would have mattered where I put the post.

I hope you are using the 4 hours wisely.
As best as I can visiting the BY and seeing if there is any news on the injured players. I think Furphy could help us tonight especially if we get the tight whistle and we need more players. My guess is AJ is going to have a ton of fouls called for him as he does like going to the hoop in transition. 3Q just started so will it take 1 hour and 20 minutes to play a half of college football? It is 38-2 great game.

They can delay the start time a bit like 10 min . They should had their Fox pregame show scheduled for 7pm and the game to start at 7 30pm.

I am hoping they do that. Watching this clock is torture

Joke? Just my coaching expertise and watching basketball for 88 years.

I mean sure. But a handful of possession against a kid this summer v an upperclassman not coming off an injury who has more than a minute’s experience in college in terms of playing time?
