There are a few inflection points that emerge during a season which can dictate direction and momentum, and after the USF loss ECU emerges as the biggest and most important one yet. The program can either take a big step forward or fall back into a hole. If they perform well and win, we will be on another high going into Tulane with a good prospect for another W (5 win season in the bank). At that point, all we have left is upside with 2 shots to pull off upsets against Houston or Temple and a complementary prize of bowl eligibility. If we lose ECU, we are in the psychological battle of our lives playing Tulane away in a continuing spiral of losses and the tangible prospect of running out the season with all losses.
