There are a few inflection points that emerge during a season which can dictate direction and momentum, and after the USF loss ECU emerges as the biggest and most important one yet. The program can either take a big step forward or fall back into a hole. If they perform well and win, we will be on another high going into Tulane with a good prospect for another W (5 win season in the bank). At that point, all we have left is upside with 2 shots to pull off upsets against Houston or Temple and a complementary prize of bowl eligibility. If we lose ECU, we are in the psychological battle of our lives playing Tulane away in a continuing spiral of losses and the tangible prospect of running out the season with all losses. Its peculiar how longer term programmatic direction and trajectory often come about in these singular moments. The time is now...
