Inês was incredibly lucky to get a spot on UConn coming from practically out of nowhere. But she was also a little unlucky that in spite of being a good, better than just serviceable, point guard, she was not good enough to crack into the rotation. As time went on it became obvious it wasn't going to happen in the future either.
Some transfers leave you with a bad taste in your mouth, but not Inês. I thought this was the best thing for her and cheered for her discission. I think her teammates and the UConn staff felt the same way.
