Try not to pay more, F4 ticket prices usually plunge the day before, or on game day - with Michigan and Illinois in driving distance, that may change this year, but I doubt itSame, if anyone can't use their tickets I'm looking for 5 tickets but will take whatever I can get and I'm willing to pay more than face. Please PM me.
I owe you a few beers after setting up that tailgate at the FAU game last Nov.Try not to pay more, F4 ticket prices usually plunge the day before, or on game day - with Michigan and Illinois in driving distance, that may change this year, but I doubt it
If you're going with 5, have all five people buy individual tickets (rather than trying to find 5 together) the morning of, and agree to meet up somewhere ... in a football stadium, nobody really cares where they're sitting, you'll be fine
We were a bigger contingent than FAU and probably Miami in '23 for and maybe Alabama in '24. I was at both. I would give you SDSU in '23 and Purdue in '24 was scary how many obnoxious fans showed up for them. NC State I guess was also bigger than us in '24.Airfare to IND out of DFW is through the roof. May fly into Midway and rent a car... But will only be for Monday. Only upside of being in TX (re. the team) has been the opportunities to see them in the F4 and their time in the AAC - games against SMU & Houston, Conference championships in Fort Worth... Re. fans at the games - SDSU showed out like mad in '23 but Purdue surpassed that and easily had the bodies in '2024. Felt like UConn had the smallest contingent both years.
LOL - my impression may have been due to where the seats I ended up grabbing were located in 2023 (sitting amongst the enemy), but the FAU fans were loud!We were a bigger contingent than FAU and probably Miami in '23 for and maybe Alabama in '24. Blows my mind UConn would have the the smallest showing in a final four of SDSU, FAU and Miami. Where are all these SDSU fans coming from?Airfare to IND out of DFW is through the roof. Hopefully, Mullins' family, friends and fans show up in droves with UConn gears...do they count?![]()
My brother who wasn't an FAU alum was able to get good seats in the FAU section pretty easily with at $50 donation. We sat in their lower bowl section.LOL - my impression may have been due to where the seats I ended up grabbing were located in 2023 (sitting amongst the enemy), but the FAU fans were loud!
I was at it and I think we only trailed SDSU for that final four. Maybe Miami was bigger than us but we were bigger than FAU for sure.Blows my mind UConn would have the the smallest showing in a final four of SDSU, FAU and Miami. Where are all these SDSU fans coming from?
I live in Cincinnati and this is what I'm hoping for. In Houston, tickets were under $50 to get in for the championship game. They should be under $100 for UConn/Arizona.This years venue is "driveable" for most schools. That will make demand much higher in general. Need AZ and Uconn in final, that game will be cheap.
LOL - no idea. But they still hate Kemba.Blows my mind UConn would have the the smallest showing in a final four of SDSU, FAU and Miami. Where are all these SDSU fans coming from?
"that’s because of Fairfield County - and they don’t think of themselves as part of the state"When you average a final four every 3 years, it’s difficult to get fantastic attendance - especially when you’re a state school that is always a good distance away from the venue. It’s expensive for fans to travel continuously to these events. And even though people think of Connecticut as wealthy, that’s because of Fairfield County - and they don’t think of themselves as part of the state. UConn fans are by and large hard working, normal folks who can’t always splurge for these types of trips. It’s also Easter weekend, making it difficult for people with families to travel far away for the game.
Michigan and Illinois are local - and rarely get this far. They will attend in droves. Arizona also rarely gets this far — they will also attend. It is what it is - though I’m hopeful we’ll still have a decent attendance.
Well, it's certainly not a hotbed of UConn support like the Hartford area is."that’s because of Fairfield County - and they don’t think of themselves as part of the state"
Where you getting that idea? Not true.
Am I think only one trying to figure out this avatar?Anyone who can’t go but has the option to buy, happy to Venmo you for 2 and the pregame.
It’s from the ‘23 run, where mojo was a mashup of Taylor Swift and Bill Murray. And it’s literally her wearing a shirt that says his name, no AI back thenAm I think only one trying to figure out this avatar?
