Indy trip … who’s going and should I?

I got an email last night saying there will be a window to buy tomorrow but it's based on donor level and all that stuff - they didnt give a time slot or any other info just that it's tomorrow
Couple years ago my email said "Don't get your hopes up. you're not going to get a sniff." So maybe there's some hope.

I am a season ticket holder but not a big donor. If I remember correctly, they offered us (season ticket holders) the opportunity to buy tickets in 2023 (Houston) but they did not in 2024 (Phoenix). Am I remembering that correctly? I would only go if I can buy tickets through the school. And around when will we know if we can buy tickets?
Check the email on your ticket account.

What donor level are you? I didn’t get the email yet

Flight is booked and I’ll be able to get tickets through UConn no problem. Hotels appear to be the issue at this point. Anyone finding anything within a couple miles of the stadium that isn’t sold out?
Unfortunately it looks like stuff downtown is booked up. Near the airport seems to have some reasonable availability. Its only about 10mins to downtown, which I'm hoping is an easy Uber drive.

Tickets are my issue at the moment. Not looking like I'll get them through UConn. Hoping to get lucky somehow.

I'm in the middle of a big project at one of my clients with some big meetings next week so can't be there on Monday, but I'm going to go Saturday morning and back to ATL on Sunday morning.

Getting tougher. I got 4 in 2024 for the men's FF. And have always been able to get them for W FF also (for friends). This year I have received nothing on the women at all and only can buy 2 for the MFF. Guess I have to start donating more money lol.

I stopped donating for points because you can't deduct it. Still give to scholarships / etc - but that doesn't help me get seats :)

Email says I am Director level
On the website, it says "If tickets still remain, Husky level members will receive priority over the general public." Did they give you a deadline to purchase? Just wondering when I should officially give up hope.

went in '04, '09, '11, 14 - all fantastic, unique experiences - even losing in '09. go - enjoy the moment!!

Drink at the team's hotel bar after each win!! Game watch the women win on Sunday!!

Indy is a great city - drove to 5 Indy 500s from CT - easy 12 hours with another driver.

Go Huskies!!

no deadline yet - it just says the opportunity to get tix will start tomorrow at 9am

My son and I are headed to Indy. Driving Friday from CT (12.5 hours) but we'll split the driving time between us. Not looking forward to the long drive, but I've driven straight through to Florida by myself, so it can be done. We got an AirBNB just a 10 minute drive from Lucas Oil Stadium (a 13 dollar uber if we decide to uber around.) We can pack our own groceries and beer and save a ton over what we would spend at bars and restaurants if staying at a hotel, and the cheapest flights were around 800 pp round trip, so driving it is!
I made it to Houston with him a few years ago, and I made the Phoenix trip with a buddy 2 years ago, so I'm pretty sure I'm a good luck charm and just HAVE to go to Indy now. It's nice to be retired. See you in Indy! Go Huskies!
Smart.

Yes. I’d have to imagine ticket options are easier because it’s a holiday weekend also.

Last 2 FF’s they cut the initial sale early, then reopened it on Thursday or Friday to sell more tickets.
2023 I had no problems buying 4 tickets through the school as a low level donor. Last year I didn't come close to getting them in the initial release, and happened to get lucky with 2 tickets in the Friday "we have extras" window. Not sure what to expect this year.

Driving down from Chicago. What are the best options for flights from the Connecticut area? I'll be picking up people flying in from Connecticut and LA area.
cheapest and most flights will be from NYC airports

I want to go, I'm one year removed as a student and have never gone before. Can anyone give me useful recommendations regarding cheap flights or hotels? Aren't special packages offered? I'm not sure what I'm doing.

I'd imagine Tweed will have some special to Indy for the event?
cheapest flights will prob be from nyc...fly into chi on Fri night...spend the night there having fun then drive down sat morn

This is what im going to hope for. I have feeling I'll get lucky. The stub hub prices are crazy.
I wanted to lock in 5 tickets in a great area of the stadium this morning but others want to wait. Can you dm me or post here when you see what UConn is offering?

Oddly enough I had the opposite issue. With Easter weekend and Indianapolis a pain to get to, I can’t imagine it’ll be higher demand than 2023 or 2024.
