In case you missed it - Serah vs #2 UCLA highlights

If she can teach Jana and/or Gandy even half her stuff it will be great. Also sounds like Williams needs a blow now and then which is a perfect fit for a share of the position with Jana, but Williams is well ahead of Jana at this stage of her development

Just practicing against her will be an education.

Only a few highlights of her going up against Betts, but one particularly nice spin move getting easily around Lauren at the end of the video. But it's easy to see why fans are so high on her. And what a treat for HER to be coming to UConn - Wisconsin was not a good team. And to me it looked like the Wisconsin guards had trouble getting the ball to her at the right time - but i'm not an expert at the minutia of ball movement...

In the USC game, she made Rayah look small. She’s 6’4” but she plays bigger than that. And she’s got great hands, Sarah-Strong-one-handed-catch great. Picture having two great-hands bigs on the court at once.

I’d say her offensive skills are comparable to Kiki Iriafen’s, but her defense is markedly better. She’s a great shot blocker. I’m also struck by the versatility of her shooting motion. Sometimes it’s a straight up speed move with a quick release, other times she puts a hitch-fake in it to avoid a block. Very resourceful. So many things will be possible next season.

And for Serah, her experience up to now has been of putting up great numbers against tough teams but still losing. I suspect those days are over. I expect to see her and Sarah put up lots of double-doubles and the question in each game could well be which of the Big Three (Sarah Azzi Serah) will break out for 25+.

PS: Jana and Ice can definitely learn a lot from Serah in practice. But I have a feeling Gandy will learn the most from her.

Have seen a few of her highlights. What impresses me the most is how she gets position in the post, and demands the ball. Then, she knows what to do with it and goes up strong! UConn has been missing that for a while now, even in last year's championship run. If Serah stays health, I see her getting a lion's share of the post minutes and UConn being scary good!

Yes…It is early pre-season…but as a long-term fan I can state that I never saw a roster soo loaded. Geno the master will deliver the goods when all is said & done.
As long as he maintains his health, I hope he stays around for a few years.
How many coaches other than he can figure it all out..I cannot wait to to see his untanglement.
Go Huskies!

The ceiling is high for this group of Huskies!
The reason 90+ points per game average is a possibility is there is so much talent available that subbing during the game won't lower the possibility of scoring! 4th quarter subs are capable of consistent scoring!
Serah, Sarah, Jana, Ice, & Yanna will dominate teams inside!
And watch out for Gandy come February, March, and April!

This could be the most talent, top to bottom, of any team that Geno has assembled. Obviously, we have to go through the season, but potentially this team can make go undefeated and rival the great Stewie teams, Diana teams, and Moore teams. Now we know about Serah, Kayleigh just made the USA team, Blanca has been described by some as one of the best recruits UConn has ever had. Coupled with our Sarah, FF MOP Azzi Fudd, and the rest of the cast will make this team unbeatable next year. I am just syked about the future, and by the way, is it time to play yet??

Maybe Geno should schedule a couple of games against a W team in Oct when the W season is over as tune-ups!
