It fell flat because there was <20k people there. If the joint was full it would have been more effective. I liked it as a nod to our bball culture. I'm sure the intention is to disfragment the fanbase which is surely needed.
I'd even go as far as to play this after the coin toss every game like they do before tip at the basketball games:

That chant fires me up every time.

In light of our Head Coach relating the team to The Dark Knight, it may be time to hire Hans Zimmer to write up some catchy theme song for the team's entrance onto the field.
I liked O'fortuna from the Edsall days and "For Those About to Rock" but I have no idea what that was Thursday night.
Yes, I am bored and cannot wait for Saturday.

Happy to FINALLY see the UConn Dairy Bar truck!!!!!!

Unhappy that you can't bring the ice cream into the stadium and eat it at your seat :(

Now I know why we could not find it. LOL

On another note...on the way in I heard on 1080 that the location/route of the HuskyWalk had changed this year...by the time I parked it was over. Anyone know what is different this season?

I would call UConn Athletics to triple check but based on the Maine Game Day Guide --- 4 hours before kick-off:

2:00 PM -- Season Ticket Holder Early Access to Parking Lots/Tailgating
Season ticket holders may enter the stadium an hour before lots open to the public. Please follow your normal parking entry instructions printed on the back of your season parking pass. Only season parking pass holders enjoy this benefit so please display your parking pass when you enter the stadium. Blue and Grey lot pass holders will be able to park in designated lots and allow for space around their tailgate area for other fans. Please keep all traffic areas clear as stadium staff will be backfilling lots when gates open to the public.

3:00 PM -- Parking Lots/Tailgating Open to Public
Parking lots are now open to the public. Get in early and get the grill going! For the full list of tailgating policies, please CLICK HERE. Don’t forget to use #UConnTailgate and #UConnNation all season long when posting pictures of your game day setup.
