Pure coaching right there. Underwood can recruit and he can come up with a reasonable gameplan but Hurley takes belt to behind in-game.

Talked with a really nice older Illini fan on the walk outside the arena after the game. He likes Brad as a program guy but he said he's intensely jealous of us having Hurley. He knows it's a major mismatch during the games.

Not in the photo, but I saw Shabazz and I think Kemba during the telecast when they panned to the UConn section.

Kemba is about the only guy I haven't seen here. Bazz and Boat are a duo at the final 4. The two normal sized badarses are everywhere together. Burrell and Smitty will be here tomorrow.

Oriakhi was with DeAndre last night too, good seeing him.

I am glad you are there to soak it all in. How did you purchase tickets to the Final Four games in Indy? Did you purchase directly from the NCAA website? Or did you purchase on the secondary market like a StubHub, SeatGeek, or some other website?

The refs wanted to keep Illinois in it. They went on a 9 minute FG drought while going on a 10-0 run. Ridiculous.

Also, my only real complaint was Dan icing the starters in the 2nd half. He got to cute with the lead and went with the bench lineup for 2 minutes 2 long. The starters came in cold and the offense dried up. Lucky to hold on.

Born and raised in Illinois. Wikipedia says Evanston but I guess he decided to take a pass on following Northwestern sports (can’t say I blame him).

Knew someone who lived on the same floor/ same dorm at Regis as Bill. Can't speak for how long he stayed there(supposedly dropped out to pursue acting) but he did say Bill was always up for a good time. Imagine that!

The Hornets are playing the Timberwolves as I type, and then they are off tomorrow so I expect he'll make his way to Indianapolis.
