In seriousness, while I did not expect this to happen, I have consistently said all year long that while we can play poorly, we can also beat any team any day of the week when we play well. Not really going out on a limb there given who we did beat this season. The funny thing is we can apparently beat any team without playing all that well offensively.

Kenny Smith made some great points about the UConn system. The staff knows who to go after and how to coach them up. And our teams are clutch. I once heard someone explain that being clutch doesn't mean you play better under pressure; it means you keep playing your game when others wilt under the pressure.

We’ve won games all year by making plays down the stretch. Experience and execution are our biggest weapons.

He made some bonehead plays, but Solo's shots were huge, lucky rolls or not. I feel for him. That wrist injury clearly screwed his shot up. You can't really say he doesn't try hard. He wants so bad to contribute and I think the shooting percentage comes back up after a full recovery.
Say what you want about some of his boneheaded plays or bad misses or matador defense but the kid gives 110% every game and I’ve noticed he’s always bringing energy and celebrating the team’s success when he’s on the bench even having a bad game. Says a lot about the kid

17-1 in March, the last four years, one more to go.

13-1 Final four all-time.

This team guts it out.

(What's with the circles on everyone's arms? Maybe I missed it.
It’s called cupping, to increase blood flow in those areas. I just had one done at PT for a pinched nerve.

Felt like it was our B+ game at best and we still led almost the whole way. Just great contributions all over the roster and some fortunate bounces for Solo on his long range shots.

Two games in a row where Solo had an absolutely clutch offensive rebound along with a clutch breakaway basket.

the best game they played all year. the dagger 3 by mullins was a perfect set called by hurley . there were great calls by hurley at key times … one for alex he missed and one for tarris . he ( staff) a step above everyone else

Just another gritty team win, the story of this teams season. Shoutout Solo and Mullins finally shooting well at the same time. Shoutout Reed for owning the first half. Shoutout the coaches for running the best stuff in the country. Shoutout anyone in the building making pro UConn noise.

I can’t believe we’re 1 away from number 7.

We’re gonna huge games from Tarris and Alex, these potential opponents have the best front courts in the country, Alex needs to make Peat/Morez pay off screens, Tarris is going to be in for the fight of his life against those bigs on the boards. Goes without saying our shooters can’t no show this time.

And our offense on the break a couple of times we had numbers and guys didn’t give it up for the easy two and instead took a challenged shot.
They've done that all season. Ball is really bad at that. Think it was a 3 on 1 (or 2?) where Ball took it to the hoop and missed when he had a teammate or 2 open for an easy layup. But tough to complain about anything tonight. One more win.
