The crazy part is I feel that was our C game

Defense is 50% of the game. The #2 offense scored 23 points in the first 27 minutes of the game. Then UConn took their foot off the gas. That's not C game basketball.

We all know that he tries to sound impartial and unbiased and I respect him for that... but last year and this year are the worst years to try and play that game. Look at Nick Wright repping KC Chiefs, Dauster should've been doing the same thing. He'll look back with regret IMO. This is a legendary 2 year run.

Probably already mentioned here but we won by 25 and our 1st Team All-American point guard had 5 points and our Big East Freshman of the Year/NBA Lottery pick guard had 2 points.

Illinois' Domask literally bumps, bangs and elbows defenders to create space for his shots. WTHeck ? How much contact is he allowed to get away with? All game long. NFL WR's don't get that much leeway. Thinking if that's how the game is gonna be called, take an expendable off the bench and have him put a shoulder into him so hard it knocks him on his back.

It does not even come close to reflecting his dominance. I have never seen a player so visibly in someone’s head as Clingan was with Hawkins and Shannon. These two were seeing ghosts.

It goes the the difference in mobility between Clingan and Edey. Both are defensive forces, but one translates to the next level and one is an exceptional college player.

That give-and-go play with 8:50 left between Spencer and Clingan, wow. Special.

The poise, trust, and connectedness they had to recognize, sync up, and execute a give-and-go with 3 seconds on the shot clock was unbelievable and completely emblematic of this team.

Here it is, folks. Started and finished by Diarra. Plenty of transition buckets against a team who said they wanted to run and put up 100 on us. Beautiful stretch of basketball. As good as I’ve ever seen.

It’s even crazier to watch like this. Wow, we are good. They make me so proud to be a Husky!
