That is just the best
And we are proud of itTruer words could not be spoken.
Underwood didn't cover himself with glory but let's be fair. The only thing Brad Underwood could have done to prevent that buzzsaw was forfeit at halftime.I can't believe they stook with it so long. It was coaching malpractice. His post game presser isn't helping his case
I'm not sure I've ever had more appreciation for Hurley after listening to and reading his comments
Defense is 50% of the game. The #2 offense scored 23 points in the first 27 minutes of the game. Then UConn took their foot off the gas. That's not C game basketball. The crazy part is I feel that was our C game
Van Gundys hate was weird. The best part of the 30-0 run was that it shut up Van Gundy and Bonner.
We all know that he tries to sound impartial and unbiased and I respect him for that... but last year and this year are the worst years to try and play that game. Look at Nick Wright repping KC Chiefs, Dauster should've been doing the same thing. He'll look back with regret IMO. This is a legendary 2 year run.Dauster was talking about Hawkins like he was Wemby or something, his pre-game pod he said that he would be the 2nd most talented player on the floor behind Shannon. Guy did nothing on offense and destroyed by Clingan on defense.
Turned the #2 offense into the #4 offense in one night.Held the #2 offense in the country to 0.75 points per possession. Iconic.

It goes the the difference in mobility between Clingan and Edey. Both are defensive forces, but one translates to the next level and one is an exceptional college player. It does not even come close to reflecting his dominance. I have never seen a player so visibly in someone’s head as Clingan was with Hawkins and Shannon. These two were seeing ghosts.
The poise, trust, and connectedness they had to recognize, sync up, and execute a give-and-go with 3 seconds on the shot clock was unbelievable and completely emblematic of this team. That give-and-go play with 8:50 left between Spencer and Clingan, wow. Special.
Here it is, folks. Started and finished by Diarra. Plenty of transition buckets against a team who said they wanted to run and put up 100 on us. Beautiful stretch of basketball. As good as I’ve ever seen.

Sour grapes. DC played his most defensively disciplined game of the year. They were the unfortunate recipients of said game. Deal with it.Thoroughly enjoying the Illinois fans on twitter and their board complaining that only one foul was called on Clingan.
Have no idea what game they were watching or if they understand the rules of basketball. The dude did not foul. So disciplined again.
