We've lost two starting guards from our lineup, and she is a top quality player who could give us leadership at the point. We don't need two posts players from the portal ... one quality beast would do just fine while Jana strengthens her hands, improves her foot movements, and increases her vertical jumping ability.
Actually, we do need a point guard to replace Ms. Chen (and Paige). Miles is a top player with the ability to lead and to score. KK is terrific coming off the bench; she, however, lacks discipline and is an iffy scorer. Ash can score but she, too, is best coming off the bench.
Don't know how Miles feels about UConn, but I hope she'll get a look.

just stop with kk lacks discipline!!

Outside of this years team there were always players who weren't great defenders. Even on Stewie' s teams. Neither KML or KLS were good defenders but others helped out.
Hard to help a point guard who is not a good defender. I imagine Geno and his assistant coaches could teach her a thing or two but I don’t think point guard is an area of need next year. Great player so she will go some place where she can have an impact but it is not likely to be UConn.

I believe that UConn should kick the tires on Olivia Miles. If it turns out that she will not a good fit, that's okay. Move ahead with KK Arnold and hope she continues to develop during the offseason.

KML may not have looked the part, but she was an excellent defender. Her 11.6 defensive win shares would be top-ten all-time in the Big East if UConn hadn’t switched conferences after her sophomore year.

Looks like the question is moot:

Same things I say on the men's board.

I'm here to cheer and yell at the refs. I'm a back seat driver just enjoying the ride.

And I let the GOAT handle the little stuff like roster construction. Geno is pretty good at it, so I don't have to be.
