EDD transferred from UConn to Delaware to be close to her sister who was severely handicapped. The mystery for me is why she chose to play volleyball instead of basketball. Could it be that if she opted to play basketball at Delaware the "haters" would come out of the woodwork and claim she thought she wasn't good enough to play High D1 WBB? I'm sure that was a very emotional time for her, and she knew this decision would be scrutinized by everyone. As it turned out, she made the right decision for her, and her ability has never been doubted.
