From a purely hoops standpoint - this isn't a bad add at all. For everything else, probably not.

Their baseball program is pretty legit. The AAC, for all it's foilbles - has turned into a pretty excellent baseball conference - not that that means anything to people here.

I'm all for AAC expansion, and I'm sure that Mike Aresco and company have a plan in place already for this in the next few years.

Here's who I'd invite to move to 16:

• Army
• Air Force
• Boise State
• BYU

If (and its a big if) BYU wouldn't agree to join because they enjoy being an Independent, or Army or Air Force won't join, then I think you go after these schools:

• Colorado State
• New Mexico
• San Diego State
