Ice Brady: The Movie

Since Brady arrived at UConn I've detailed in several other threads all the reasons why I believed that she would have been a key factor for last year's team and what I expect from her this coming season. Today I came across an interview that Auriemma did last season shortly after the Texas game with Marty Mush on The Barstool Roundball Podcast that seems to validate my beliefs about Brady being college ready. In it around the 19:50 mark GA makes a comment about Bueckers and the "other kid" who's out for the season (Brady) and mentions that she would have been getting around 25 minutes of PT had she stayed healthy. I'm obviously not surprised and am looking forward to what she can do this season with a full year of mental preparation behind her.

After watching the first video and reading all the comments, I am looking forward to seeing Ice finely getting on the court. She does nothing to make it look like her #5 recruit rating is too high and I think just being around the team for a year has to be of value. Now what I hope for is that the #4 ranked recruit - AP - turns it on this year also. A positions 4 and 5 group made up on Liya, Jana, Ice and an improved Yanna, although young, would be fantastic. I can't wait to begin getting feedback as the team prepares for the European trip. Fourteen players, all of whom are UConn quality. I don't want to get into the annual, "who is going to start " debate, but looking at our depth tells me #12 is on the way.
