As you may know I made one of many threads about DD. While he still can't shoot, he has been very effective. I don't know if anybody has noticed but recently DD has been playing more like a PF. While he might not have the size, but his speed length and effort have made him very serviceable. I have changed my view on him for now. Time will only tell if he will continue to progress, and if he does he will be a great 4 year player.

He missed three bunnies yesterday but was still 3-8.

Didn't catch the opening part of the game because of SNY showing the previous one. But...

Kid doesn't miss.

And that doesn't mean he's 100%.

He's still improving, its the growing pains that frustrate me. I have to keep reminding myself that DD is a true sophomore. He's got the size, speed, talent and coaches to work with. In 2 years he will fully mature and be more than expected. He can get to the next level.

Its patience with anticipation.

it's OK, we love to be proven wrong when we bash a player

I hope Tyler makes me look like an idiot time and time again

I'll tell you one thing he did yesterday was crash the boards. He had 9 rebounds (4 offensive) and believe me we needed every one of them.

Yeah he did but they were nice strong moves, one to left side off the spin was real nice but missed. Fact is 2 weeks in a row at 8 and 9 rebounds and that's the key!!!! Doing a real nice job on the boards and aggressive....DD is becoming a real force and could be huge trouble for opponents in the coming year or so!!!

He is also clearly playing out of position. But seeming to be getting the hang of it.

And it wasn't just the boards. He used those long arms to block a shot, and alter many others. He also had some deflections and knocked away a few passes. His defensive presence was critical.

I really like how DD was able to shake off a tough start yesterday and keep his composure in a hostile environment. He has shown a ton of maturity this year
