Austin Peay is the 16th seed. I think you'll get your wish

We will be relaxed. We have nothing to lose and will play out of our minds. On the other hand Kansas have the burden of expectation. I love it! lol

And this could be a huge showing for us concerning conference affiliation. I will be happy if we at least make it a nail biter.

Well they are struggling with a mid major right now, so they shouldn't be talking.

A Mid-Major that has more national championships than them. LOL what does that make them? A DII team?

I know it's popular to rip on him but Bill Self is a really really good coach. This is the least talented team to ever be the number one overall seed.

Kansas is really good. But they don't overwhelm you with talent or athleticism.

Ellis is the key but I think Miller and brimah can slow him down.

Graham and mason are very quick and definitely good. But nothing we haven't seen before.

Selden is Rodney purvis 2.0. Has flashes or brilliance but is inconsistent and can be out of Control. And purvis can definitely shut him down.

Overall I don't really see a guy who can take over the game.

If we can turn them over and get a few fast break points we can definitely beat them.

Anyone who dares to say I want to beat the best needs their head examined! LOL
I will freely admit to rooting for injuries to opponents star players (not serious, but enough to have them miss the game). I always laugh when people say "I want to face their A lineup.' Liars!

One of their 3 was a Wilt Chamberlain title from 1812 or whenever. In the more scientific measurement of "titles since I've been old enough to pay attention to them", we are up 4-2.

They kick our ass in runner-up finishes, though.
No, they never won with Wilt.

Wow... Austin Peay sucks bad... Maybe Kansas will get lazy after playing inferior competition.

Carry on our wayward sons!

(I hate Kansas, but the song fits us better than them this season)

Second is the first loser

Yeah - I guess 1952 was pre-Wilt.

My parents were born that year and are both retired.

ahh those pre Jim Crow titles. would love to hang my hat on those.

who is going to guard Selden, cause he is friggin good? Not really afraid of Ellis. Selden is the X factor for KU.

It's remarkable since the Dance went to 64 teams how many teams have never appeared in the FF. The crollary to that is that some well known teams will never appear. South Bend for one.!!!!!!:)
