I'm going back 30 years but during my senior year, there was a package store that ran a special on Red White & Blue beer (Pabst's B label, to give you an idea of what we are talking about) for something like $6.50 per case. As college students are normally broke, my buddies and I would take a few runs each week to pick up a case.
