I really hope Mullins comes back

It did say directly to women's and men's basketball. I'm sure a lot of it will cover NIL in some form.
Yeah, I don't understand how the school administers outside name image and likeness money. I guess I could take the time to figure out all the rules, but actually, it all disgusts me so, as much as possible, I pretend that it doesn't exist.

My nephew commented on a video, asking Braylon to come back. A few minutes later he got this follow request.

Hurley's buddy Seth Greenberg says Mullins should spend another year in Storrs. I wonder where he got these points from? 😀

“If I had one bit of advice for Braylon, it’s run your own race. You’re going to get to the finish line. So enjoy where you are and run your own race,” Greenberg told The Courant. “Don’t let anyone pressure you into running a race that you really don’t want to run right now. The NBA’s going to always be there. The NBA’s not going anywhere for that kid. Coming back will only help him.”

“He knows he’s probably going to be a lottery pick next year,” Greenberg said. “I think you only get a chance to do this one time, college. Maturity has a lot to do with it. Is he mature enough to live an NBA lifestyle? Or does he enjoy being on a college campus and everything that it has to offer, and give himself a chance to get a little stronger and mature to some extent?"

Here’s what one top ESPN analyst says this undecided UConn men’s basketball star should do

He's not ready
A large part of 1st round fits that statement. But there is an argument that getting drafted in the top 14 gives you a significant advantage vs 14+ as far as actually getting a meaningful opportunity in the NBA. A lot players at the end of round one never get a shot at playing time.

Pro to going now is lock in that money.

Pro to waiting a year is you increase the odds of having a long and successful career

Well we did just get 15 Million from 1 donor for the basketball program. LOL!
The 15 million from donor goes towards an annunity to pay for coaches ONLY! Not one DIME is going towards NIL for players.

I wouldn’t trust one outlying mock draft to base my decision on whether to go or not. The strength of this year’s draft class versus next year’s class is something I’m sure is being factored in. With NIL the young man certainly would also have the opportunity to insure himself against an injury that might negatively affect his career. I also think the hand wringing about age is seemingly being downplayed by how high 23 year old Yaxel is going in mock drafts from tied in pundits.

Can I assume this type of donation usually comes with a condition that the athletic department doesn't just cut their budget by $15 million?

That deadline applies to Ball & Stewart and the portal

Mullins we may have to wait until the NBA draft deadline
