Watching Geno interview Rebecca and Jennifer was in my opinion some of Geno's finest moments on camera. There was touching moment after touching moment. The show gave me a warm feeling all over... It was awesome and recommended for anyone who hasn't seen the show.

Now THAT was the best hour on Television (With respect to Meghan). A great great show from beginning to end. Lots of awesome inside stories. Thankful that they produced it.

Heads up, Guys. I see SNY has already posted one segment from that show HERE. As they normally do with thier "Geno Show," they may or may not post more at that website as well. If it does not show up right away, on the left side under "Play List" , click UConn. Look for reference to "Geno's Legacy"... about 3 1/2 min on the 1995 Final Four.

Really a great show... super job by Geno, Becca, Jen and SNY.

It was great. Anyone who still habors doubts about the move to SNY needs to see this program. One quibble, rather than a studio I'd like to see it at Geno's home a smaller venue might increase the intimacy of the conversation. Regardless it was a great, great show.

Geno and CD should provide this show to every recruit they want to come to UConn.

GREAT JOB by SNY !!!!!!!!!! And terrific "performances" by Rebecca and Jen.

Conceptually, the show is pure genius. Whoever brainchilded the show deserves kudos. I like the relaxed style of the interviews. The chemistry between Geno, Rebecca and Jennifer was incredible and seeing it in way captured some of the magic of the National Championship season they experienced togetther.

That was great! Will there be other shows? Shea? D? Maya? Harry?

Geno’s Legacy: hosted by Head Coach Geno Auriemma and set in a round-table format for a lively conversation – Geno’s Legacy will feature former Huskies basketball stars reminiscing about their time and experiences as student athletes while at UConn. The show will debut in January, and include the following guests in the first three shows:
Episode #1: Jen Rizzotti and Rebecca Lobo
Episode #2: Chris Dailey, Shea Ralph and Jamelle Elliott
Episode #3: Kerry Bascom and Nykesha Sales

Gotta Agree with everything everybody said. A terrific show. Keep'em coming.

This show was simply superb! Really loved it! Can't wait to see the next two, particularly the one with Kerry Bascom.

I loved the show too (new here - usually post on ESPN board). I thought the rapport between Geno, Jen and Rebecca was great. I enjoyed Rebecca telling the story of when/how she decided to end her basketball career. And, I didn't realize that Jen wasn't always the perfect teammate! :)

When is this being showed again?

And when is Episode #2 scheduled?

Really stinks that we in the streaming community can't get full replays of these specials. I know... Beating a dead horse, etc.

So glad it was Geno and Becca and Jenn - no moderator. The rapport and true friendship between all three of them really shone through.

Kudos to Geno - he obviously put a lot of thought into his questions and the progression of the questions for both of them. It takes a lot of hard work to make a show like that look so warm and personal.

So far VERY impressed with SNY and the resources they devote to the program.

Couldn't agree more with all that was said above. What a wonderful show and a real treat to watch. Well done SNY!

I feel exactly the same way, pap...

The entire SNY coverage is first rate. The Geno shows have been very professional and the Legacy show was very insightful.

Interesting that Jen wants to win a National Championship but won't make a move from Hartford until her children are older. Or until Geno retires? She has to be the first choice to replace Geno and she would be a fantastic choice

Shhhhh, I haven't seen it yet. DVR'd it.
You will love it. It is a little weird at the end when they did the dance number thing, but other than that it's great.

Gonna watch it tonight.

I would love to see Sveta and Diana together.

I think it would be hard to get 2 active players together, especially those that spend significant portions of the year overseas. Maybe they can tape one of these shows during UConn's offseason if a couple ex-UConn players come by to play the Connecticut Sun or even the NY Liberty.

I'd love to see Tina and Maya together.

Yup - I think SNY has exceeded my expectations. I love CPTV and what they did for Uconn, and I thought they were very good as they ramped up their programming and technical capabilities. But SNY has really stepped up the game. The production values are excellent and when you compare it to what is coming out of other regional networks on the women's side it is like watching college coverage vs. HS coverage. The on air talent that they have assembled is good and they have kept the hometown feel with two former Huskies. And the camera work is excellent.
I like Kerith on the Geno show and sideline stuff, and this special was GREAT and I am looking forward to all the others. (I would enjoy seeing one of these shows without Geno, just former players and maybe some former assistants dishing on him and the program.)
My only minor criticism is with the pre/HT/post game studio - I feel it is a little 'scripted' or just hasn't quit got a flow. I like having the shows as opposed to the fundraising, but ...
I would also love to see a program outside the studio with bits on former players doing other things - 5 minutes each with folks who were part of the program and are now pursuing 'real life' reflecting back on what they got out of their experience.

UConn has better coverage than most men's teams. Stop and think about that. It really is a first class production.

I like the studio stuff, mostly because I like Kara. She was good to begin with and gets better every game. I also can't help but remember her as a freshman. She has come a long way. Listening to her as a studio analyst brings a smile to face everytime.
