Can someone please teach our DB's to turn their head's when in deep coverage? Do that and then work on the 11 yard cushion we give opposing receivers. I've got a long list of things to bitch about but don't have the desire to even list them. Sad display today, all around. Coaches included.

And we've got a kicking problem that needs to be addressed immediately.

Also, is it mandatory that we need to be displaying P6 flags and having a cheerleader running around waving one?

All I can say is What Was That? I understand a good Mizzou offense that sorted out their early issues but we really looked rotten on D. And the coverage laying back 10 yards. Was that to prove some kind of point or just troll the fans who came out and paid to watch Mr Softee ? To many issues to cover and it was more mental than physical. Was hoping the Coaches and players would be further along.

But what surprised me on offense was the overall sloppiness. Even when RE 1.0 lost we didn't beat ourselves like that. The guys seemed either totally distracted or intimidated? Never seen receivers drop so many catchable balls and fail to adjust to the gopher balls by Shirreffs. Even the missed assignments on OL seemed worse. Something seemed way off and I hope it was just an aberration because it was a step backwards. We left a lot of points out there in the first half not that it would have changed the outcome but it totally shook the team. Missouri is better than their record but not that great for sure.

Edsall said it was the deer in the headlights from Bryant which was not the norm for sure. He said there was 12 drops which is unacceptable.

The team looked like they all took the night off

The D is beyond help at this point in the season. It's a rebuild and they ought to scrap the whole D coaching staff. To even allow those cushions all game is beyond incompetence. To have players not turning their heads this late in the season is inexcusable. To have players not being able to wrap up on tackles is just schit poor.

PS - we left with 2 minutes remaining. I felt badly but it was just too disgusting watching a junior scrimmage any longer.

They saw the SEC patches on the uniforms and thought they were playing Alabama.

The secondary was almost reverential in their treatment of the Mizzou receivers.

To be fair that felt like the longest first half I’ve ever sat through. We definitely gave up 4 quarters worth of points in those 30 minutes.

The points we left off the board on our end bothered me more. Wide open TD's missed (both on same drive), missed FG, at least 5 dropped, very catchable balls, etc, etc.

Left at halftime. After 6+ years of this I now leave when I can no longer tolerate it. I used to stay until the bitter end or very near it. This was much harder to watch than the beat down by Memphis. At least we hung with them for a while.

I left at the 7 minute mark of the 4th quarter I dont know how I did it I felt dead at the 2nd quarter and the start of the 4th like there was 2 minutes left in the game just that kind of feeling. Its one thing to watch it on TV its another to be at the game, the start time (which was fine) combined with Mizzou moving the chains and getting TDS combined with UConn dropping pass after pass sure didnt help. I expected the D to get torched but the offense was just as pathetic they had open guys all night and dropped many catchable balls just sickening, I'm not putting up with this dog crap anymore. Watching it in person is just a feeling that you can't describe you gotta be there to feel to truly the pain.

No one on either side of the ball seem to be able to do anything right last night. Just was one of those games you have to forget about.
My hope is the players have short memories for next weeks game against USF

The best part of my night was my 14 yo nephew getting back from the bathroom and dipping his hand in my brand new popcorn without asking. I asked him if he washed his hands and I give him credit for being honest and saying no. I spent the next 20 minutes watching him eat the entire bag while I tried to explain to him that he had just turned my bag of popcorn into a bag of "d^ck corn".

I just texted him and said he has to buy his first house from this guy.

Im so sick of it. Not only did we suck today, but we had no pride. I left. Not watching a bunch of kids getting a free education mope around the field because they are getting knocked around. We need a big attitude adjustment.

Well, what? The score was 27-2. Tell me, did we miss anything important? Didn't think so.

I'm not knocking you hill but the score was 21-2 at the end of the first quarter and we left 10 points on the field with the missed kick and wide open TD debacle. In the end you were smarter than me for hitting the road early but still a bit premature in my book.

I would like to hear a reason from the coaching staff as to how a 4 year corner does not know how to turn and look for the ball especially when he is in coverage in the endzone. Why is this accepted as good enough to start and play all game? Why don't we try and start coverage closer to the line of scrimmage. Bubble screens are automatic for ten yards before our second DB gets there. Not sure tonight if the receiver said something to Summers prior to him throwing the ball at him but that is no excuse. Long night but Hergy did not fold, nice game by him.

I think we are all especially pissed off because it was one of those special opportunities to turn a corner with some momentum and the team just didn't show up. They played with fear and a lack of intensity necessary to take what they want. They shrunk away from opportunity. They were tentative, unfocused and unaggressive. This is the psychology of a losing program. Seven years of this really wears on you.

They are all set back at ten yards. It's a gimme play all game long. The worst part is there is no way to close on the throw and then they are out of position one on one. It's asinine. I'd rather have them up on the line in bump cover. They will get burnt long on occasion but they are dying by gimme chunks. This has to be on Crocker, because it's consistent and unchanging. The DBs show no cover skills or basic football tackling skills. These DBs have not improved. I'm telling you this guy SUCKS and the numbers show it.
