OT: I Heard 72% of Adults Live Within......

218 miles, South Jersey to Simsbury. During my working career I'd say 11 stops with a median of 1100 miles.

My permanent residence has never been more than about 15 miles from where I was born and raised which itself is about 7 miles from Storrs.

A Connecticut Yankee near King Geno's Court, you might say.

Eastern NY to southwestern UT, the Google says 2478 miles door-to-door.

.-.
757 miles driveway to driveway. I do get lost a lot so it could be much closer.
Thank God for smartphones and the Google maps app. Everyone could not read (or make sense of) Thomas Brothers Guides. I had no problem reading them, but I knew a lot of folks that either didn't have one, or couldn't read it, especially at night. Anyone that has a "smartphone" should NEVER get lost, or not know where they are, especially since there's a blue dot on the Google map app that tells you exactly (within 10 feet) where you are. :) #neverlostagain

I haven't lived within 20 miles of where I grew up since I graduated from college. It's now 1,282 miles, Springfield, MA to Vero Beach, FL.

Place of birth: Bronx, NY.
Current residence: La Costa, California.
Distance: About 2,850 miles.

I would never leave the San Diego area. Where else can you go an entire year without having to use your heat or your air conditioning?

I heard 72% of adults live within 20 miles of where they grew up. How far are you from home?
Born in Kingston, Jamaica, grew up in Brooklyn NY, now live in Indian land SC (just south of Charlotte), distance from Brooklyn to Indian Land = 648 miles. In between (at least two years residence) Grinnell IA, Iowa City IA, Twin Cities Area MN, New Haven CT, Bayonne NJ, Durham NC, Milwaukee WI, Louisville KY (7 years), Terre Haute IN, Columbus OH, Savannah GA, back to Iowa City, Pyeongtaek S. Korea (7.5 years) and then to the NC/SC area. Louisville and S. Korea the two longest stays. For my wife it's 7809 miles (Huangshi, Hubei to SC)
