A) We were a 9 seed.
B) ISU beat Kansas and Baylor.
C) We didn't have a fantastic year.
D) We won a championship last year.

Cool. Whatever. Analyzing every detail about Lamb's failed windmill dunk or how we didn't attack when we were in the bonus or whatever will not change the outcome of the game. Instead, it is just going to work you up over something we have no ability to change.

So instead of lamenting about busted brackets and dismissed chances at a repeat, let's look forward towards the future. Whatever the hell it brings (which by the way...none of us know, so stop acting like our fate is sealed and delivered)...I'll be standing behind this team 100%.

Students today. Huskies forever.

...how we didn't attack when we were in the bonus...
I generally agree with your post. But I don't think that there's a problem with analyzing things like this, provided the answer isn't "they just didn't want it enough."

And what can we do about it? Absolutely nothing. Sulking never made great people. Get over it.

I just don't click on any threads that include anything about the team or the game. Stick with the adopt a team and bus stop stuff and it's not bad here.

I don't think talking about a basketball game is sulking. There's a line, and far too many posters have crossed it. But I don't think every bit of criticism and dissection is sulky.

With your logic, why ever talk about basketball? We can't effect anything unless we're coaching. Why analyze a win we felt good about? It already happened.

people always come out of the woodwork here after a loss, people whose names you dont recognize and go in thread after thread slamming the team. I just come around less and only click on threads started by people I care what they have to say or have a title that does not seem whacked out.

It wasn't just "a loss".

It was the cumulative affect of an entire lost season with all the low-lights that went with it.

Really how many highlights were there this season? I can't think of too many.

And you guys in CT get the games for free. Pay for Full Court and you might feel differently.

Sorry, this board is sulking. Maybe you personally are not...but the majority of these threads are pathetic in their creation. It's ok to talk basketball, but there is a fine line between being a fan and being bat- crazy. This board swung to the bat- crazy side last night.

Thank you for your interest in UConn Basketball. Maybe you should root for USF. They're local.

the mods could go the duke route and lock all threads after the game but what fun would that be!

I don't disagree with this at all...
