I guess Ayanna is 100% recovered

I would love to see that during a game, even if it was after the game was well decided. They're just haven't been many women's college basketball players who can do that. I can't think of any other woman's basketball player who could do that at Ayana's height.

I believe the player from Colorado who went to Stanford was no more than 6'2".

From memory, in high school, she used to do 2-handed dunks with barely a step. Thought there was threads about it here, with video.

I was sitting opposite of where the camera is for Yanna's dunk, and the entire team went bananas (it also concluded that portion of their pregame).
Oh, and let's not forget 6'2" Toby Fournier among dunkers.

Yeah, I remember it being a little bit more, though not the specifics. Still, it's a functional dunk which continues to be few and far between in the women's game.

Fran Belibi. I wonder if she’s in med school now? If I’m not mistaken she wanted to be a doctor. Maybe FarmFan can chime in?
She's actually a little shorter than Ayanna and she gets up a lot higher. That was impressive.

1994- Charlotte Smith in a game for No. Carolina at only 6-0.

I read an interview with Fran about a year ago, and if memory serves, she had recently graduated from Harvard with a master's degree in education and was working in a lab at Stanford Medical School. A very impressive young woman.

I think Maya Moore mentioned dunking the ball at UConn in her Book "Love and Justice". However, she missed the first time she tried it in a game; but Geno was not upset with her.

Dom Malonga was routinely dunking in warm-ups last night. She also got a break-away, but wasn't quite open enough to try for a dunk.

It's getting to be a different game. She makes it look easy.

I recall watching video of 6-0 Seimone Augustus dunking in high school. 6-0 Maya Moore was reputed to dunk often in practice.
