...Colleen & I will be in Tampa for the Final Four.

We were given all-session nosebleed tickets and VIP hospitality passes, so we'll be on the 3rd level most of the time at the games, but we'll be there!

Which brings up the question...

Has any planning for in- or out-of-game Boneyard meeting(s) been initiated for that weekend?

We'll be arriving on Saturday afternoon.

We'll be at Hattricks before the games. It's about the only sports bar near Amalie Arena. It's on 107 South Franklin St. about a 10 minute walk (four blocks) from the arena.

Yeah, we are.

Colleen flies a few times a year with her job so we got a U.S. Air credit card that gives her bonus miles when we use it to buy USAir tickets. She's now got Silver Preferred status and gets occasional free upgrades to First Class. We both get to board in group 2 (after the First Class, Platinum & Gold Preferred flyers). And we don't pay extra for exit-row or front-of-the-cabin seats.

The card was a good $85/year investment for us.

As an additional bonus besides all the basketball, even I will have enough miles for a trip to Europe or South America after this.

1. From the Embassy Suites, head north on S.Florida Ave. to Channelside Drive (0.1mile). You will go under the elevated highway.
2. Turn left on E. Brorien St. (36 feet)
3. Take a slight right to stay on E. Brorien St. (276 feet).
4. Turn right on S. Franklin Street.
5. Hattricks will be 387 feet on your left.

I may be off an inch or two; but it’s no more than a 10 minute walk.

Just got back from a week in Tampa/Pass-a-Grill. Sunny, highs in the 70's-80's. Gulf water temps close to 70. Much needed. Much appreciated after this winter.
