I feel terrible for Liam

I feel bad for Liam with some caveats -

1. The alternate was Indiana, so....yeah
2. He's healthy now and has an unconditional green light. If he's worried about missing the tournament, he can personally fix that on the court. From a fan's perspective, we can't expect him to repeat his Creighton performance. But from his competitive perspective, I bet he's thinking "I can do that any day"
3. After the season, he can sign a multi million dollar contract if he wants. That solves a lot of the emotions of this season

Season isn’t over yet but don’t feel TOO bad for him. In a few months he’ll sign a contract to make more money in a year doing what he loves than most people see in their lifetime working jobs they can’t stand. I know money can’t buy happiness, but you can drive a pretty nice car looking for it.

He came here expecting a run to to FF. Now even making the tourney isn’t a given.

Since he’s likely drafted this year, it’s his only chance!

I don't feel terrible for a guy who is playing a game he loves, having fun and will soon make millions. Probably has no trouble finding girls on campus. Yeah, it's a rough life, but somebody has to do it.

Compare his last 2 games. Not a question of whether he is great. He just needs to mature and find his on floor consistency in presence and effect. Hasn’t really played that many games at all for us.

So let me get this right Liam wants to win a national championship? Gee who knew, most great players didn't win national championships or make the FF, Ray and Caron have done ok.

I felt bad when Liam missed time obviously, but he's back now hopefully no more injuries. Stop playing this soft victim mentality you know he isn't doing that.

So lame. The pervasive attitude I am reading is not indicative of a fan base supporting back to back champs. This is way too weak. We are quick to label players as weak. Well, a bunch of us are being extremely weak minded. I for one will give the best coaching staff in America time to do their thing and will judge them after our last game.
