I am freaking fired up for Temple

Did anyone see the hands to the face? I know ESPN conveniently show the penalty replay. Couldn't even get the right jersey number on the call.
 
The difference in the game was ND had free reign no interruption on their go ahead drive and Temple was hit with a random 15 yard penalty during theirs. That's the difference.
 
I wish nothing but the worst for Memphis and Temple. Would be really happy if each lost out. #yesimstillbitter

Soon as they panned to the end zone it looked like the safety recognized it and hesitated on his angle then he was in no mans land. Just froze up on committing. Feel bad for the young man but they were in it all the way. Matakevich is a player.
 
That's the definition of a gut punch. Would have been so much more fun if Temple won. Too bad - I guess the silver lining is maybe a one loss ND squad can keep a P5 out.

For whatever reason I instinctively hate the ND QB. Would love to rabbit punch that arrogant puke. Was hoping Matakevich would obliterate him.

Hence the reason they want to build a 35K seat stadium on campus. Best of both worlds - NFL stadium for premium games and smaller stadium for all other games.

I was irate over that 3rd and long play on Temple's last drive. The past down the right sideline looked like it had interference on ND written all over it...alas, no flag. Also, ND's quarterback was a major jerk taunting matakevich and the temple fans on his two touchdowns. i was so pissed at the ending that i felt like i was watching uconn lose...

Haven't seen those teams use their city's NFL stadiums recently (I know Houston used to play in the Astrodome, Tulane in the Superdome, and SMU in Texas Stadium). But I imagine if they improve (Houston's already there) and get some big OOC names on their home schedule they'd use the local NFL stadiums.
 
USF plays in Raymond James Stadium (thou I wouldn't call the Bucs an NFL team...):)

USF is trying to build a 30K seat stadium on campus...

UTSA plays big games in the Alamodome.

ND QB is a good kid did nothing most kids do all the time. And that wasn't interference but I get he ND hatred, to each his own. Temple played them tough and ND also made too many mental errors and didn't play well at all. Good for the league even with the loss, although our Huskies handled ECU easier also. Huskies can take Temple.
 
So mocking the other team -the owls- with the flapping wings hand gestures twice was OK but the RJ keep feeding me gesture is a penalty? I was surprised the refs ignored that BS twice. The flags would have been flying if the Owls did a Irish Step dance.
 
just got around to watching this tonight; glad I did, one of the best games I've seen this year although I would've written a different ending... I was also bothered by kizer's owl dance

Dream come true to play in Lincoln financial last night. A long time Eagles fan got to celebrate TD's like some of the greats #FlyEaglesFly

Still doesn't mean Matakevich shouldn't have de-cleated him after the first time.
