Other than Simmons no one is a sure top 5 pick. Murray, Skal, Ingram, Brown, Bender, Rabb are all in various top 5 mocks.

Also, where is Daniels? Not listed on Raptors NBA or D league rosters.

I will bet you $10 to a charity of your choice that Skal doesn't go Top 3 in this year's draft.

Daniels broke a bone this summer or preseason he is out for the year.
Bad luck in a critical year.

We can catch a huge break if OSU can use this win to play well in the B1G.

It's not surprising that Ohio State struggled early with the amount of young talent on that roster...but even before the Kentucky win they played Virginia, who might be the best team in the country, pretty tough. My guess is they'll finish around .500 in conference play.

UK has:
SR- Poythress
JR- Mulder, Hawkins, Floreal, Lee, Willis
SO- Ullis
FR- Murray, Briscoe, Matthews, Humphries, Wynyard, Labissiere

Signed- Gabriel, Fox, Jones, Monk and Adebayo

They need 5 guys to leave to have enough scholarships for their next group of five stars. They have one senior (who theoretically could get a redshirt year). I believe Floreal was a walk on and will return to that status. They still need three others to leave before they are at the correct limit for scholarships. Right now only Murray looks like he would be worth a pick. Scal is putting up worse numbers than Drummond did and doesn't have Drummonds absurd athleticism. It's still early but he looks like a bust in the making. Briscoe Looks like a solid freshman but nothing to get overly excited about as a draft pick, Ullis is 5-8 and none of the others look the least bit ready. It will be interesting to see what happens if they implode and who gets dumped.

Yes, I guess I wasn't clear. I meant he could theoretically stay for his fifth year. He played all of his freshman and sophomore years, played 8 games before injury his junior year and is in his senior year this year.

Matta is still bitter about 2011:

“We were the best team in college basketball [in 2011],” Matta told SI.com Saturday night as he boarded the Buckeyes’ bus. “And then Knight hit that freak shot to win it, and it was over. Sometimes, you don’t earn breaks and sometimes you just get them.”

Yeah, sorry. The best 2011 team beat that Kentucky team in the tournament.

A huge UK supporter said Cal predicted up to 9 losses this season. Anyone remember that? Not saying he didn't at this point, but I can't see him saying that ever until after the fact, when he has perfect recall of revisionist history.

I am not sure we want him but wouldn't it be funny if he became our next grad transfer?
