I hear you but I want him available for free throws at the end when needed.Gaffney hasn't been good enough to be on the floor for consistent minutes. He fell down and turned the ball over then immediately tackled the ball handler and Hurley rightly pulled him for good.
The 2004 team beat everyone by 100 points. It didn't even matter if they were bad at FT'sThe 2004 team was terrible at free throw shooting. Like one of the 5 or 10 worst teams in the country at it. But, they were good enough to overcome that, and they hit them when they counted.
How can you even compare them? 2nd and 3rd pick in the draft, Sr PG, Charlie and Josh, Williams. Would anyone except Bouk even play on that squad?
