Hypothetically speaking. If we were to win out, including the Big East tournament, what seed would we be? I would think a 4.

Heading into Saturday's game, I think we are a 7.

I think right now we are 8/9 if we win out 5/6 seed. I think I would prefer the 6 in that case.

Before the Gillespie injury, I would've guessed a BET win (assuming we also win Saturday) would net us a 5 seed. Now, I would say probably a 6.

5 more likely 6...The 6 seed is my ideal spot in every March madness. Just seems to me to be the easiest route to the 2nd weekend.

Yeah I would say if we win out we ll be a five or six seed , if not an 8/9- we drop our next two games, prolly a 10. Now if you want to get really crazy just imagine if bouk never got injured - we would of beat St johns , Providence and Seton hall - and let’s say we beat Creighton in the first game- we could be looking at a 17-2, 18-1 record and the number one or two seed. Insane. All hypothetical obviously but fun to think about and not too far off from the truth

Hypothetically speaking, how many threads does it take to figure out which seed we are?

4 seed. People forget that the sample size is much smaller this year.

Didn't know he got hurt. RJ Cole's chest will be pleased, maybe the bruises will heal.

Let’s get 4-5 more threads going on this.......there aren’t quite enough yet

God forbid people are excited we are a tournament team again this year and actually good again. What does it take to make some of you happy? Life must be rough

I think with wins over Georgetown, Xavier, Creighton and Villanova we’ve got a chance at a 4/5 but hopefully settle as a 6.

Crazy truth is he got away with 2 fouls on the play he was hurt, while being backed down one on one. Feel bad kicking him while he’s down but it’s true watch the play. If they blew the whistle like they should maybe the play never happens.

Oh don’t get me wrong, I couldn’t be any happier about the situation. I just find it a bit difficult to keep track of the discussion when it takes place across multiple threads. The same with recruiting threads.

Agreed. We are all psyched that we are relevant again, but do we really all need to create our own threads to discuss the same topic? It’s tedious.

Guards who play like Karl Malone are going to get banged up. Still hope he comes back from it. I still haven’t seen it.

Must have missed the "win out - seed" thread. Oh well, tough crap. After looking at the NET ratings I am changing my position. I say we are a 9 seed right now but could play up to a 5 or 6 if we win out. Believe it or not, the 5 seed has a better chance of making it to week 2 (33.5%) than a 6 seed does (30%).

And then I'll discuss it.
