Huskies vs. USF Game Thread

I haven't had a chance to watch UConn much this year. They look fantastic today. Surgically precise. USF really isn't playing badly but are getting blown out. Really impressive effort from Collier.

Butler Hands of Stone caused that Foul. If she holds on to the Rebound no foul on that play.

USF has a lot of injuries. The fouls are going to start taking their toll if the Huskies can keep going at them in the paint.

Offense continues to be outstanding. Pretty disappointing quarter on the defensive end though, like the 2nd half of the first game against Temple.

Don't really like that the Huskies are in a shooting contest with USF, but I like the fact that they are winning it.

With how the Refs are calling this game, any1 see a potential Tulane game where USF makes it interesting.

While USF has made some tough shots with players right with them. They have had a lot of Open Looks. Not the best Team Defense for UConn.

Baskets in the Paint at the half
UConn 14 (8-6)
USF 9 (2-7)

Way too many baskets for USF.

.-.
UConn had a 20 point lead then USF had a furious flurry and ended up...up 20 at the half.
Nah shots are falling for UConn tonight unlike against Tulane. Tonight shooting 58%, against Tulane it was 38%.

I stand corrected.
If only ESPN could give us a closer view of the action, we'd probably be able to see who the refs are calling fouls on in the first place! ;)
