Huskies vs. USF Game Thread

Is it just my eyes or does it seem like FL travels an awful lot that hasn't been called? That play a minute ago where they showed the replay it looked like she stopped dribbling at the foul line, took 3 or 4 steps and put up a layup with no travel called.

They have a lot of European players that utilize the euro step.

Her shots have been flat and short. Tired legs? Opponents are physical with her and that takes a toll
Looks a little tired tonight. Her shot is a little flat most likely due to tired legs. I think this off time before the AAC tornament will help a lot.

Could be, with the quick turnaround also.

My hope and expectation is that the time off between the AACT and NCAAT will help.

Between now and the AACT is only the customary time off between weekday and weekend games.

Assuming Napheesa doesn't reenter the game here, here are the highest-scoring performances in UConn history:

1. Nykesha (46)
2. Maya (41)
3. Maya (40)
T4. Kerry/Sveta/Pheesa (39)

I don't miss Nat's play whatsoever. She just slow the game down too much ha ha..

I also get the feeling that Lou has not been 100%. There may be some niggling injuries she's been silent about.
No 40 for Pheesa :(
I keep saying it every game. What's wrong with her? For a consensus AA with skills around the basket that are both balletic and unguardable to score only 39 points?

Crystal has 12 pts and 9 assists. can she get another assist for a double double?

Probably not. Geno and José are friends, and after the previous game, you'll see the current lineup for less than 5 minutes, methinks.
You are right. Bring in the bench, and that's the end of the scoring.
