The Valkyries sold out every game last year (18,000+) which is saying a lot for a new franchise playing in the arena that the Warriors play in. Always a fun crowd that were totally devoted to our new team.

The Bay Area totally bought in to them with incredible support and lots of great press, always positive even when they lost. One bar near me focuses on women's sports and it was always packed during and after Valks games.

I'm thrilled that Gabby has signed with them. Kaitlyn has always had great support among fans here - including but certainly not limited to the Asian community - and Tiff was a popular player as well. Hope Kiah finds her home here.

I started rooting for the Dallas Wings last year when the Sun roster imploded, and now they are moving to Houston. With Azzi joining Paige I am now a total Dallas Wings fan. I actually watched every game, but my biggest treat was the way Paige took over the team, and I swear she did some things that she never did at UConn. They will be fun to watch this year.

Not a former Husky, but Gabby's friend Juste Jocyte was named 3rd team All-Euroleague. She'll team with Gabby, Tip, and KC on the Golden State squad. For people who haven't seen JJ, her build and game are very much like those of Jazzy Davidson. Juste is age 20.

Shocked by this signing. The WNBA is so physical, and Caroline is so limited, especially when trying to avoid getting knocked around. Hopefully it will be a short tryout and she doesn’t get hurt.
