IMO, the only way it may not be a shock is if DH already has someone lined up to take the minutes CF thought he was going to be getting, and he was honest with CF about it and CF made his decision...but not sure who that guy would be at this point.

Nope, I remember it quite well. Both the highs and the lows. And if Hurley references once more how he rescued this program from the depths of hell, I will take that as a sign that he, likely many here, haven't moved beyond that yet.

transfer guard "x" didnt even need to be lined up. hurley made it known to everyone he is recruiting another starting caliber G to along with Newton, which is all floyd needed to realize he was probably gonna be the 3rd string SG and/or SF next year.

if being 3rd string didn't sit well with him then so be it. we need depth pieces that will be happy with their roles because the 9th or 10th through 13th guys on the roster are glorified cheerleaders. quality over quantity was one of the lessons learned after last season.
