Hurley said you now have to be brutally honest when it comes to recruiting. Of course they could still leave, but it's evident he is going to be very honest with them about the development.Hopefully this time the developmental guys choose to stick around after a year of the staff developing them
If it helps his shooting then I’m on board with it no matter how ugly it might be.Can’t wait to see his jumpsuit
There is nothing AJax can't do if he puts his mind to it. I hope he makes some for the whole teamCan’t wait to see his jumpsuit
And Hurley, lol.Polyester? Can’t wait to see his jumpsuit
Not sure he can develop a consistent one in one offseason when he still doesn't have a jumpshot. One thing at a time work on Jumpshot and he can get rid of that ugly floater, shotput.I want AJ to develop a step back jumper in the lane with a defender in his face. If he can do that, it means it stroke has been cleaned up and he is capable of so much more.
"self belief in themselves"
but his point still stands, the 9th through 13th guys on the team have to be content with not playing much if at all, like springs has been. otherwise they have the option to just pack up and leave now.Avery Brown isn't at this level, if we wanted a CT. guard Hurley should've went after Desmond Claude.
I disagree, I think Floyd was going to get a lot of time and has the versatility to play multiple positions. He surely would've been looking at a lot of minutes with the roster we have now, hopefully that changes and Hurley brings in a couple of more studs...he needs to.but his point still stands, the 9th through 13th guys on the team have to be content with not playing much if at all, like springs. otherwise they have the option to just pack up and leave now.
i think there is/was a 99% chance floyd entered this season as the 9th man on the roster. sure he coulda played ~10 mpg but the players we'll have can easily absorb that time.
1) sanogo, 2) newton, 3) jackson, 4) hawkins, 5) transfer guard?, 6) johnson, 7) karaban, 8) castle?,9)10) clingan, 11) springsfloyd,
whatever developmental depth piece we get to replace floyd shouldnt be the difference between winning a tourney game or not this season
yep, 8893 is not cutting itSpeaking of which, I am also working on my handles
I want AJ to develop an "in your face", posterizing dunk that can be used once or twice a game. Enough of this floater and contested lay up crap. Use his athletic skills to embarrass and deflate the opponent.I want AJ to develop a step back jumper in the lane with a defender in his face. I think that's the one that was the shock to the staff. Everyone on the Boneyard could have predicted the other 3 in January so it's hard to believe the staff didn't knowHmmmm. My guess is CFjr wasn't the shock to the staff as it was to the BY. Be very interesting to see where he lands. Methinks it won't be at the level most on here have prescribed.
There's literally a quote 2 posts above yours with the head coach saying he was shocked by the Akok transfer...I think that's the one that was the shock to the staff. Everyone on the Boneyard could have predicted the other 3 in January so it's hard to believe the staff didn't know
It says "it hit him." Not "shocked." He genuinely cares for the kid and probably wishes all his dreams came true at UConn. There's literally a quote 2 posts above yours with the head coach saying he was shocked by the Akok transfer...
