Hurley has a plan

Edit: I thought that once a player starts the year as a medical redshirt, they can’t play for the rest of the season. I just learned something.
There's no official medical redshirt status. He could play at any point and burn the redshirt year. It actually technically won't even be a medical redshirt since he can just have a regular redshirt year. So could theoretically end up like Hudson Greer at Creighton who was going to redshirt and halfway through the year they decided to play him

You never know - injuries happen. Not a bad position to have someone back there just in case, late in the year.

Fellas - As I stated in a previous post - County will be the backup PG. If we bring in another PG it will be 3rd string
Remember freshman guards that performed great for us. Rasool Diggins and Ahmad Nowell. People should remember that when they suggest freshman point guards.

Another big man gone, hopefully Hurley has a good plan

Following coach - not a surprise. We aren’t making a splash at the 4. Need NK in weight room, kid needs to get to 230 or so.

Surprised we haven’t seen more announcements happen today - kids like Sarr, Evans, Johnson, Mara.

He probably wasn’t ever going to be able to pull two centers out of the portal who both wanted to start and who both commanded starting center NIL level deals in an inflated market. Landing Hines was big, but it also limited our hand going forward.

Now we have to find a 4-5 combo as a depth piece. It may be a mid major guy, who wants the chance to be in a championship level rotation and salivates at the chance to be the hustle guy off the bench. Or perhaps someone on the Euro market who wants to come to the US.

.-.

This kids a 4 - not every euro is a 5, lol

So, two bad scouts mean you stop trying?

You don't risk the season on in incoming 4-star being able to change positions while moving from high school to college.

Especially not a difficult offense that even an experienced PG moving from a mid-major struggled to run efficiently much of the time.

It sounds like you forgot Silas is still on the team, jobin.

Apparently I forgot that he never gets tired or hurt so never needs to be substituted.

I'm going through something. It makes me forgetful.
