UConn commits fouls. The way they play defense they will be prone to it, and they are particularly careless with obvious reach in fouls.
….opponents who also play tough D again them do not get called for the holds, hand checks, pushes, illegal screens sticking knees and hips out, etc, that they should
It’s not about hating UConn, but not calling the less obvious fouls that slows down the movement of the offense. UConn opponents have mimicked how St John’s defends them. More power to them, the horribly bad ncaa officiating largely gives them a pass, so why wouldn’t they.
People seem to not understand Mullins, as a young , tall but very slight, skinny guard without much strength would have his shot affected by the grabbing, holding, and out right physical nature of the way he was defended throughout the Big East schedule.
Took his legs right out from his shot. Never really was able to regain they rythmn.
That’s what the NCAA wants?
Michigan hacked and pushed with impunity. From the first few minutes when they hacked Reed's arm causing the ball to go out of bounds and they refs gave the ball to Michigan, we were in trouble.
