Thing is Larrier would still be looking to the end of the year if he was to come back and where he might go in the draft. I feel like ANY coach at this point would sound like the teacher from Charlie Brown.Yeah, best for everyone that he moves on. There really isn't anything more he can learn in college and we can't afford for him to not learn it.
When he is playing for a paycheck he will either fix the holes in his game or he won't be playing for pay.
Eh not so sure. Chris Mack, Fred Hoiberg, and Mark Few are all coaches who went straight from assistant to head coach at decent programs. If URI is serious about their facility upgrades, Cox could be successful.Cox would be a horrible hire for URI. They are on a upswing. They don’t need a first time guy learning how to run a program on the fly. No matter how well he recruits

Of course, there are plenty of examples to the contrary: Isaiah Thomas at FIU, Drexler at UH, even KO to an extent. But is Cox that much more of a risk than anyone else on their radar?
Is it standard practice to document all the coaches making home visits? I bet K wouldn't pose for a picture, if he was there.
I didn't know it still existedIt is mostly politics. Good to stay away.

Causal fan here with a two cent opinion. This team needs at least one new PG recruit and at least two if Adams does not return. Anything else Hurley accomplishes this off season with the roster is a bonus (adding one big man).
Here are some PG grad transfers that may be available, obviously not sure:
Cheddi Mosley, Boston University

If he comes back, he would have to enroll in grad courses right?Doubt he'll return - but nice to see Hurley reach out to Larrier.

isnt Akinjo's scholarship open?
If Cox doesn’t get the URI job he will likely be here.If Cox doesn't get the URI hc job, is he likely to join DH's staff here?
In terms of the roster, it seems to me that a PG has to be top priority. A sniper 2G is next assuming they don't see Matthews in that role. If they don't, then I think there is a real logjam at SF between Wilson, Matthews, and Polley. It may allow them to let one of Polley or Matthews leave given that Wilson seems very committed. Then, I'd fill that ship with that sniper 2G. With JA, AG, and Wilson all being driving/slashing perimeter guys, the knockdown shooter is a must-have.
