I expect this to go a lot better than the last time we gave a coach an extension and raise off of a championship!
Could not willSo you're saying the same will happen now?
No. My memory is slippingNope. Can you remind us please?
Why? I’m loving my post NC buzz and in this cra cra world it’s a blessing to have something you can be jubilant about.Just trying to cool the jubilation as I‘ve seen it before
It's the only thing left posters who wanted Hurley fired have left to cling toWhy? I’m loving my post NC buzz and in this cra cra world it’s a blessing to have something you can be jubilant about.
It's just confirmation bias from all sides. Pro Big 12 people will say he was told we're going and that's why we can afford the contract. Pro Big East people will say he was told we're staying and that's the only reason he signed itAwesome news. Guess everyone that thinks he's going to bolt if we change conferences can sit down now.
UConn is in the Big East and it pays like the enormous national basketball program it is.It's just confirmation bias from all sides. I don’t want to sidetrack at thread that should be surely positive, but there is no evidence that UConn will have an enrollment decline.Big salary increase for a state school. All projections point to a dramatic enrollment decline by 2025. If we go into a recession, state schools will be in trouble. As long as DH keeps winning and brings in recruits, sports revenue will be a big positive and it will be a good deal for the school. Big 12 is the big elephant in the room.

Entirely appropriate, if that were the case. And to fair, if we didn't make the tournament questions would have been asked.
