I said a few weeks ago that Auburn might be the one exception. Tigers rocking Georgia 30-7 in 3Q right now.
Would still need to beat Bama and GA again.

UCF does not remain.

They meet your criteria, but they do not have any chance.

Clemson been living on a prayer all season. Looking at fisk again today but FSU letting them off the hook.

Wow. That kick hooked hard to the left.

Mississippi State has not handled this last possession well. I could see running the clock out. I could see trying to score. Mississippi State tried to do both, and left a lot of time for Alabama.

That was brutal play calling by the Mississippi State D Coordinator on those last two plays. He has been getting pressure off 4 and 5 pass rushers, and instead he sends the house, leaving everyone in single coverage.

Exactly the text I sent my friend on that drive. You have to be decisive with that possession.

You are the king of pointing out time management fiascos, and that was a big one. Once MSU tried the draw, the right move was to run out the clock, make Alabama burn its TOs, and give them the ball back with 25 seconds and 75 yards of field to cover. Instead, MSU essentially gave Alabama another timeout and gave them plenty of time to score.

Do you realize yet that your premise is faulty?

You have UCF alive but not Auburn?

Auburn is 8 slots ahead and beat the #1 team in the poll worse than UCF beat UConn.

Ohio State is ahead of UCF and beat a top 15 team by 42.

If UCF is alive - every team ahead of them in the poll on Tuesday is alive.

Every G5 team is eliminated just by virtue of being a G5 team.

We can argue about what should have happened with the Georgia Tech game, but every undefeated team deserves a chance at the championship. If there's an issue with an inadequate strength of schedule, the NCAA should deal with that before the season starts, not after. Otherwise, you're saying that the American is not a D1 conference, which is exactly what the power elite are saying.

Nobody from the upper P5 wants to schedule a road game at UCF or Memphis when they have to already play a tough schedule anyways. They'd rather get a free one against Troy or UTEP in their own home...

That and Auburn already blew their shot. They lost twice. They are out. If you can lose twice and still make it into the playoff, what is the point of the regular season. The P5 has a 1.5 loss handicap. That is fair. Anymore is ridiculous. And we are not talking about a MAC or Sun Belt school here. We are talking about an AAC school. The AAC is the clear no. 6 conference. Back in the days of the BCS, the MW was the clear no. 7 where there were 6 power conferences, and I believe Boise State got ranked as high as 3 or 4 before.
