Good point. He spoke to having a rough summer in his Creighton choice speech a short while ago. For a kid that was fairly high in most rankings, didn’t quite get the buzz as it seemed like many of the usuals fell off a bit.He didn't perform so well at peach jam vs high major athletes, so kind of expected that he'd be a backup option for UConn. I guess him deciding to commit early is a sign that UConn feel confident with higher ranked targets.
“I just felt that the way in which they play with pindowns, flares, and things of that nature is the best way for me to play. I’m at my best self when I’m moving around the court, lining up my feet and shooting. Just them feeling trust in me and ultimately working myself in as a Baylor Scheierman type of guy. But just with a little more athleticism and obviously need to hit the weight room as well.”Good point. He spoke to having a rough summer in his Creighton choice speech a short while ago. FWIW the quote referenced below. Good luck to Greer and Creighton. Except when they play UConn of course.Good point. My first thought was that the more ambiguity in what constitutes business purposes etc. is exactly what we don't want the NCAA to have. This gives them an IRS type authority where you are accused and are de facto guilty until you "prove" your innocence. We've seen how they arbitrarily some programs differently and I'll leave it at that.Does not sound good for us...lol
It’s good to see BE teams get some of these kids to keep the talent level high in conference. They aren’t appearing that often on top recruit lists. English is doing some work, Creighton gets their 1 a year, but by and large the P4 is getting most of the attention. Smart tends to recruit in that 80-120 range, as does Miller. Cooley is trying but missing. Pitino seems focused on the portal.Assuming it was a pass by Danny because he's feeling good about his targets. Greer is a good fit for Creighton-Wish him well
Big East recruiting is just fine. 14 top 100 kids in the 2024 class. It’s good to see BE teams get some of these kids to keep the talent level high in conference.
