I agree. Let me hasten to say I'm not saying I agree because I think it was a bad choice. I looked through the entire list can picture every single one of the other recipients.
I drew a blank at Andrea Riley, possibly because when I see Riley, I think Ruth Riley, obviously not a point guard.
To make matters worse, I decided to glance at her Wikipedia page and see that I am the second largest contributor to the writing of the article about her, so now I am feeling my age.

She did average almost 27 points per game with 6 1/2 assists, and was named to the All-American second team, so she sounds qualified.
(As a very minor note, I saw that some editor had introduced a small error to the article which I have fixed.)
