How long will the Big 10 season last?

I was hoping it’d get shut down with RU at 1-0 so they could claim the lamest conference title ever and we could make fun of them for it.

The B1G is still playing this weekend. The MAC started last week. P12 starts today. There's no suggestion that football is going to be shutdown. If anything, it's gaining momentum and support.

It's almost as if some UConn fans want the rest of college football to not play.

Did you know Michigan became "big time" only after they made a trip here in 188whatever for road trips to Yale and Wesleyan? The field and ball from the Wesleyan game still exist. The Cardinals are 1-0 all time vs UM.

Also a little known fact: BC's worst nightmare is UConn being added to the Big Ten.

Agreed- it would create a core of 4 East teams including PSU
UConn has been scheduling Big 10 teams in both hoops and football so there is some history
Biggest drawback to Uconn- no stadium on campus

Mike Phipps and Leroy Keyes. They went the first half of the season ranked #1.

I think their 1892 season was more impressive. Not bad to go undefeated 5 years, with that schedule, after starting the program with 1 week of training to learn how to play football. And getting destroyed by Butler in their first game.

Yes, and the Patriots' biggest fear is that UConn will join the NFL. But first, you've got to have a football team.
