Thursday - Silas Demary commits to UConn (I’m stretching the weekend cause it was so good)

Friday - Tarris announces he is coming back!

Saturday - Puke choked in EPIC fashion providing us with endless entertainment

Sunday - The ladies win yet another National Championship after NOT being ranked a #1!!!!!!!!

Oh and the Mets, Yankees and Red Sox all did well…and I golfed. Going out for a steak now...

Dude. Any chance of a happy ending?

Any question UConn is the basketball capital of the world.
Incredible bounce-back. After not winning any hoops titles since 2016, we win one in 2023, slap "Basketball Capital of the World" on our floor, and proceed to win two more titles -- men's and women's each -- in the next 18 months. Now that's backing it up.

And them Duke boys are still a lap behind our Storrs boys. Cherry on the sundae.

This year’s Lady Huskies tournament run was so reminiscent of the men’s dominant run last year. We had no peers.

Wow they won the tournament in dominant fashion. It really is insane to think that the last championship was when Breanna Stewart was on the team, just unlucky for a while.

Loved watching the Bird and Taurasi coverage. They’re a lot of fun, and you can tell have great love for the university

Joey Muldowney is coming back too

Some get upset when women’s hoop comments get made here. But the success of either or both is imperative to the school’s conference realignment candidacy. So I’m here for it when the women win. Great job ladies.
We can't afford for the women's basketball program to be taking a backseat to anyone else. What they've done is unique and unparalleled, and its value continues to grow. We've seen men's and women's hoops, football, baseball and hockey all take big steps forward this year/last year, or reassert dominance. This has been a good two years on the field/court/ice, at a crucial time.

i took a couple of my kids to the woman’s game in Tampa today, and considering that South Carolina is about a thousand miles closer to Florida the crowd at Amalie arena was 75 % for the huskies. UConn nation is alive and well.

I feel like that guy we don't remember that made his return to the Boneyard. I liked about 1/2 of the posts. Good stuff people!

Bad planning. I hosted some folks for golf in Cabo today. So couldn’t watch the game but blasted it on the speaker. Thanks iHeartRadio!!

I just watched an interview with Geno and he was asked about everything his team went through this year. He said , " if you all only knew, we had a secret scrimmage before the season started that we lost and I wasn't sure this team would even make the tournament"
When asked if he had a message to Paige , he simply said " I love you , I love you "

Maya Moore and Sue Bird to the Hall of Fame

All that had to happen was Paige and Azzi being healthy at the same time during the whole season. If Azzi does not miss those games with the scare on the knee we would have been a number 1 seed.

But Azzi and Paige healthy then you add Sarah Strong and they became dominant.

I thought it was important to add. I do not watch all the women’s games but I did watch the SC game and the Tennessee games. Then I watched every game from BE championship to the final today.

Clearly the women’s team and the men’s team are etched together in making Storrs the capital of college basketball.

18 chips all since 1995 just amazing and for a fan that always believed UConn basketball was special even growing up in the 70’s I was proud of our little states basketball team.

Dook choking and our women winning chip 12 in a 24 hour period. Yes maybe the men’s year was not the best but short of a three peat could final four weekend been any better. Today was a good day.

We have been blessed with these two teams.
