Interesting lineup of the starters but Williams instead of Nurse. Nice high/lo play between Gabby and Tuck.

Another terrific pass from Gabby but Stewart can't finish; then Gabby with a hustle rebound. Please note that Geno.

Houston is just over matched. UConn is just dominating this game.

Well the fact that it's an AAC game pretty much pre-determined that the opponent was overmatched.
SiUconn's post above made it even clearer.

UConn looks bored. Playing a bit down to the level of their opponent.
Don't agree - good effort, decent shooting %, few TO's - just good effort on both sides, so, not a wipe out early.

Meh, UConn's not going all out. It would be like kicking a fighter you just knocked out. Missed FT's, unforced TO's, some missed bunnies.

In game Fun Fact:
Bianca Winslow's father, Ricky Wilsow, was a terrific player @ Houston in the 80's & NBA draftee. Her younger brother, Justise, was a HS All American last year & a Freshman @ Duke this season & a potential first round NBA pick this year... Very good genes in the Winslow family!

Unbelievable how poor of a Free Throw Shooter Gabby is. She's shooting 46% for the season and she's 0-2 tonight. No confidence in her shot.

Phi Slama Jama!

Sorta, he was in the 2nd wave with less success. LOL But seriously, Ricky was a very good player....I just dated myself by remembering him play!

Kaleena needs some threes to keep her in the chase. Suspect she won't be in the game much longer, so hope she gets with the program soon

.-.
Nevermind on that three note...
Well I bet it took a lot of searching for something they were doing better than UCONN at... but 1-10 - I'm betting SC wishes we shot like that vs. them...

I kinda feel badly for Houston - they are just so bad...

Sue was great on pregame. Most comfortable I've seen her including ESPN work. I thought Kerith was great too. Nice piece on Natalie.

Nice game by Ek tonight. Slowly getting better.
I taped the game so have not seen it yet, but this is music to husky fans' ears. Several people have said that you can't really evaluate how "good" she can be till next year as she's coming off a year of home schooling and an injury to boot. BUT I think if she can make noticeable improvements every game or so, it will bode well for her PT earned and contributions to the team down the road. Keep up the good work Courtney!
